Quick Draft Snack

What was painfully obvious for weeks is now official, Clemson junior quarterback Trevor Lawrence (DFD Tape Grade: 9.47) has officially declared for the 2021 NFL Draft. Lawrence will almost assuredly be the first pick of the draft and a future Jacksonville Jaguar.

Georgia CB Tyson Campbell (DFD Tape Grade: 8.33), Miami (FL) TE Brevin Jordan (DFD Tape Grade: 8.25), and Clemson OT Jackson Carman have also declared for the draft. All three figure to be day two selections, at worst.

Tennessee junior CB Bryce Thompson and Stanford redshirt junior WR Connor Wedington both also have declared for the draft.

In a somewhat surprising move, Georgia DL Jordan Davis announced a return to Athens for 2021. Cal LB Kuony Deng and Clemson LB James Skalski are also returning to school next season.

Former South Carolina and Utah QB Jake Bentley will spend his sixth collegiate season playing for South Alabama.

The Senior Bowl added five more players to its roster. Cal OT Jake Curhan, Oklahoma CB Tre Norwood, Northwestern LB Paddy Fisher, Texas A&M LB Aaron Hansford, and Western Michigan OT Jaylon Moore will all be in Mobile in a few weeks.
