2021 NFL Draft Preliminary Center List

After putting a bow on the 2020 NFL Draft with team-by-team recaps it is now time to look to the future. The 2020 college football season “should be” getting underway in a little over two months. When (if?) the season starts, Deep Fried Draft will be right there bringing you all of the things you are accustomed to seeing from me.

Like last year, I am entering the 2021 NFL Draft season with 300 names on my watch list.

Today, we are going to look at the guards. These players will be listed only by class and not in any sort of official ranking.

2021 Preliminary Center List

Landon Dickerson Alabama Sr 6’5 308
Jack Wohlabaugh Duke Sr 6’3 300
Baveon Johnson Florida State Sr 6’2 305
Kohl Levao Hawaii Sr 6’5 340
Doug Kramer Illinois Sr 6’2 300
Drake Jackson Kentucky Sr 6’2 313
Danny Godlevske Miami (OH) Sr 6’1 300
Matt Allen Michigan State Sr 6’2 312
Conner Olson Minnesota Sr 6’4 305
Eli Johnson Mississippi Sr 6’1 303
Jimmy Morrissey Pittsburgh Sr 6’2 305
Orlando Umana Utah Sr 6’3 340

Like the 2021 guard class, I haven’t watched any of the center group. Landon Dickerson, an FSU transfer, has a chance to elevate himself into a draftable grade. Danny Godlevske will have my attention as I will be watching his teammate, Tommy Doyle, often.

Alec Lindstrom Boston College Jr 6’3 290
Josh Myers Ohio State Jr 6’5 310
Creed Humphrey Oklahoma Jr 6’4 325

I think Creed Humphrey could have been the top center selected a year ago. Humphrey was dominant as a redshirt freshman. He wasn’t as dominant last season due to having to take on much more responsibility. Humphrey should bounce back to becoming a potential first-round pick.

Next up, we look ahead to the 2021 edge rusher class.
